My name is Rovshana Ismayilova, and I am studying as a Junior law student at Ankara University. It is my sincerest wish that you enjoy the Model Courts of Justice as much as we have while preparing it for you.
My Model Courts of Justice journey started with my participation in the 10th edition of MCJ, as a judge at the European Court of Justice. On the 11th edition, I served as a trainee responsible for the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and the United States District Court. In the 12th edition, I had the honour to serve you as the Under-Secretary-General responsible for the International Court of Justice. Finally, in the 13th annual session of the Model Courts of Justice, it is my utmost pleasure to serve as the Secretary General of the Model Courts of Justice

I’m Zeynep Yılmaz and I’m a senior at Ankara University Faculty of Law. My journey with Model CJ started as an advocate under The Court of Justice of the European Union and after three years I became the Under-Secretary-General responsible for a different court, The European Court of Justice.
This year I am very honoured to be a part of this amazing conference as Model CJ’24 with such a wonderful team. We are here to make a memorable conference and make this edition spectacular like the previous ones.

At the previous session of the Model Courts of Justice, I served as the Academic Trainee responsible for the International Court of Justice, which was an unforgettable and remarkable experience for me. I am Aydan Seyidaliyeva, a sophomore in the Faculty of Law of Ankara University English Program (LLB). My paths crossed with the Model Courts of Justice in the 12th edition where I participated as a judge in the European Court of Human Rights receiving the ‘Best Judge’ award. It was the first conference I have truly enjoyed until then and I am determined to provide the same opportunity and pleasure for you.
