The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia was an ad-hoc criminal tribunal created by the UNSC in order to prosecute crimes of international character committed during the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia in the 90s. The court will be tasked with reaching a judgment in its most contentious case, Prosecutor v. Slobodan Milošević. Milošević is accused of grave breaches, ranging from genocide to plunder of public and private property. It is up to the members of the court the decide what is to be done in this momentous point in the history of international criminal law.
