World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is the foremost of the international organizations. WIPO was established in 1967, to promote the protection of intellectual property rights and creative activity around the world.

WIPO will examine the ‘YSKIN and WATSON’ case this year. These two companies join forces and decide to produce sunscreen as a new product. They complete this project using artificial intelligence and after a while, they leave the partnership. There is a patent incompatibility between the company that creates the artificial intelligence, and the company that uses the artificial intelligence created by the manufacturer company. In this year’s edition of WIPO, participants will decide which side or who the patent owner is.
