I am Umut Erol. I am delighted to serve as the Secretary-General of the Model Courts of Justice 2023. Currently, I study at Ankara University Faculty of Law as a senior law student. Last year, I served as the Under-Secretary-General responsible for the United States District Court regardless of distance and obstacles I encountered during the drafting process. As always, I have worked with my greatest ambition no matter how the situations have evolved.

In my fourth year in the Model Courts of Justice, I assure you that the 12th edition of the Model Courts of Justice would be remarkable and unforgettable through the outstanding efforts of both academic and organization teams as it has been for eleven years.

I am Hüseyn Alili, a 3rd-year student in the Faculty of Law of Ankara University. In my first year at Model Courts of Justice, I served as an Academic Trainee responsible for the World Trade Organization and the European Court of Human Rights. In my second year at this remarkable conference, I serve as Under-Secretary-General responsible for the International Chamber of Commerce, which will be simulated again after 3 years.

Dear participants,

I am Zeynep Yılmaz, at present studying at Universitatea din Alba Iulia as an exchange student. My first time in Model Courts of Justice was in the 10th session as an advocate, and I give credence to this first-hand experience and working under the INTA, will be used as an academic team member making 12th edition spectacular like the previous ones. This year I will be serving as Under-Secretary-General  responsible for the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

My name is Azhdar Allahverdiyev. I will serve as an Under-Secretary-General of the European Court of Human Rights in Model Court of Justice 2023. As a junior law student at Ankara University, I am fully aware that this  role requires immense determination and responsibility. Last year, I served as one of the advocates of a respondent party in the ECHR, and I managed to win the award of ‘Best Advocate’. In my second year in the MCJ, I can give you my word that I and will do everything possible to make 12th edition of the MCJ the most remarkable one in its history.

Hello there,

I am Özge Soycan. I am a sophomore student at Ankara University Law Faculty.  In my first year of university, I spent a spring term studying English in Canada. I then started to study law at Ankara University. Currently, I am a part of Willem C. International Commercial Arbitration Vis Moot Team. Besides, I am an Academic Assistant in Model Courts of Justice.
